Lissa Rhodes joined Franklin Dermatology Group in April 2017. Although born in New Orleans, LA, Lissa moved to Franklin, TN at a young age and considers herself a native.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University, then gained experience as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Master of Science in Nursing program at Belmont University and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Lissa has always had a strong interest in dermatology and first joined Franklin Dermatology Group as a nurse while closely training alongside the practice’s senior providers. She values communication and the patient-provider relationship and is committed to compassionate and effective dermatologic care.
Lissa resides in Thompson’s Station with her husband, Chris, and their two children. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating on Old Hickory Lake, traveling, and reading.
